Pot Girls

At a moment when so much of mainstream culture feels stagnant, repetitive, and obsessed with nostalgia, there remains one niche where the spirit of the avant-garde is still alive and well: fetish art. This gallery explores the transgressive and experimental nature of certain niche fetish imagery. The Pot Girls on display here are an homage to an obscure DeviantArt user named ShyDevo, who created a series of sexualized floral still life between 2016 and 2017. These strange creatures are at once a peculiar realization of an objectification fetish, an exercise in science fiction world building, and a surrealist sex toy.
